These Ribbon Skirt DIY kits are a new product we're testing out at TLTP! They contain all of the essentials for making your own ribbon skirt, perfect for beginners with basic sewing machine experience!

Each Adult Ribbon Skirt Kit Contains:*

  • ~2 metres of 100% cotton fabric
  • At least 2 different colours of ribbon
  • Thread (1-2 colours, to match the ribbons)
  • ~40-46" of 1" elastic for the waistband
  • A measuring tape
  • Straight pins, in either a cushion or other pin holder
  • 1 large safety pin
  • an instruction booklet

All you will need is a pair of scissors, a ruler, a lighter or matches, an iron & ironing board, and a sewing machine!

Please check the Product Specifications section before purchase to ensure that the kit will fit your measurements. Max waist sizes and lengths will be specified in this section. Unfortunately, due to the cut and pattern orientation of some of these fabrics (as they arrived from our supplier), some of our kits can only accomodate a maximum waist measurement of 40". Depending on the popularity of these kits, we hope to expand our available size range in the future to include more size-inclusive cuts of fabric.
