Reusable Makeup Remover Pads - Handmade by Darquise Vien (Set of 9)

SKU: DVPADS01

Note: this item is final sale and cannot be returned.

These reusable makeup-removing pads are made from 100% cotton flannel on one side, with super soft microfiber toweling on the other. These are ideal for both removing makeup and exfoliating the skin, and can be used with or without cleanser.

Each pad measures approx. 2.5-3" (~6-8cm). Product comes as a set of 9 pads.

Care instructions: Pads can either be washed by hand with water and soap after use, or put in the washing machine on a normal cycle for a deeper clean. Be careful when adding any laundry-boosters (fabric softener, scent boosters, etc) when machine washing, especially if you have sensitive skin.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Darquise Vien is a Métis woman from Northern Ontario, who has family ties to the Red River settlement. With the guidance of her mother since she was 12, she is mostly self-taught as a sewer. She developed her sewing flair and creativity after her daughter's birth, sewing unique pieces which were most inspiring and gratifying. Wanting to help her co-workers and their families during the pandemic, Darquise Vien sewed over 850 personalized face masks and many headbands. These two years, although overwhelming, allowed her to perfect her sewing techniques and strengthen her creativity with fabric. This love of garment fabrication has brought her to designing colourful traditional garments for children.
